Toshiba is a Japanese company that is headquartered in Tokyo Japan. They produce computer parts and other various electronics but are most well known for their and computers, computer peripherals, and High Definition Televisions. For years and years Toshiba has been putting out great TV's, especially their Regza Line of HDTV's.

Regza is a high quality product brand of High Definition Televisions (HDTV) by Toshiba.

The entire line of Toshiba Regza TV's has a extremely clear LCD monitor picture display - and is ideal for watching your favorite movies, satellite or cable TV shows, or even VHS video tapes. The regza line consists of HD flat screen LDC TV's from just 15" all the way up to 54". The regza 42 series seems to be the most popular line of HDTV's. They are just the right size to fit in a large entertainment center or hang on a wall in your family room. Many of these regza 42 flat screens are 1080p full HD. This produces brilliant colors and the difference is very noticeable when compared side by side.

Another common feature of regza 42 TV's is PixelPure 3G 14-Bit Internal Digital Video Processing. This is the 3rd generation of this technology and what it does is produces 4096 levels of gradation for an extremely natural looking and smooth picture quality without image banding.

DynaLight is yet another neat feature of the Regza 42 series. This technology monitors the brightness level of every single video frame and adjusts on the fly the backlight intensity based on the image content. This gives 256 levels of backlight adjustments. By doing so, this creates a very dynamic contrast up to 5 times the original panel contrast. Having this deep contrast level creates a very detailed picture even in some of the darkest pictures in a movie.

Picture quality is the most important factor when choosing your new LDC TV, but it's not the only factor. You have to consider Audio and physical appearance as well. Regza 42 series have SoundStrip speaker system installed on many of their models. SoundStrip is a new speaker technology that has enhanced dynamic range that uses a thin line speaker design. What this does is gets rid of the need for the big round or square speakers that take up so much space on an LDC TV and replaces them with smaller form factor speakers, all while not losing the home theater sound of the bigger speakers. This new speaker integration is installed into a sleek glossy black cabinet that is aesthetically appealing. How's that for a rich sound system in a compact TV cabinet.
